Success Stories
“I started working with Erik this year after meeting at Lifetime, with only a year or two of minimal coaching prior, even though I began competing sprint tri in 2010. I increased racing to four times in 2014 with my then teenaged son. We both qualified for nationals; I raced and made Team USA. As a Team USA member for nine years, I have won a few local sprint triathlons and have earned top ten age group finishes at USAT Nationals and ITU World competitions. Coach Erik defines my personal training plans towards my podium goals at National and international competitions in the sprint distance. Coach Erik might convince me to try my first Olympic distance!

“I started working with Erik this year after meeting coincidentally at LifeTime. I had been wanting to find either a tri coach or local tri club to help me reach an ambitious goal (who jumps from couch to sprint tri’s and then to their first IronMan 70.3 in a year’s time?!), and what fabulous timing! He is so easy to work with - clearly knowledgeable, informative, very patient, flexible, and most importantly, encouraging. He understands that his athletes are people with busy lives outside of training and helps them to balance achieving their goals with a personally customized plan. He may even join you for a workout! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Coach Erik towards my first Ironman 70.3 finish line and look forward to continuing to my next, Boston Olympic Tri 2023

Coach Erik and I met while I was participating in the Lifetime Indoor Tri 2023. He then coached me for the Olympic National Championship as well as several other local sprint Triathlons for 2023. We focused on my cycle and running speed with custom strength workouts towards my racing goals of 2023 Age-group Nationals Milwaukee, WI 8/6/2023 and Boston Tri Olympic distance. Lauren finished 24th in age group and was proud of her run pace 7:06 with no hip pain! “Thanks Coach Erik for your help and Expertise”

“I've been riding alongside Erik for over two years, we both have worked as Century Ride coordinators and are now Board Members for the Charles River Wheelers.
Erik is a skilled and knowledgeable cyclist and has competed in triathlons, as well as coached many athletes to do the same. We have co-led a weekly Paceline ride for riders who seek to enhance their riding skills and I have found him to be insightful and patient with new riders, and able to provide valuable feedback for more experienced riders. Together we crossed the B2VT2023 finish line using a power steady state ride profile and lots of rain gear!
I highly recommend to anyone seeking to improve their endurance and skills to seek out Erik's services.”

“Erik's knowledge and experience in the sport of triathlons is extensive. He has competed and excelled in many events, and he brings his personal knowledge and experience to his coaching. His coaching helped me in my training for two sprint triathlons and the Pan Mass Challenge. Erik's energy, enthusiasm and positivity will be sure to motivate you and help you to reach your goals as an athlete.”
